My friend SoiL was so kind to go see my show in Chicago at Bodenrader and takes pictures of my sculpture before the end of the show. My flower arrangements sculptures function like scores, each piece has a certain arrangement, a recipe of flowers and parts to be put together. As the water decreases in the pans or the flowers die the exhibitor is free to replenish the sculpture as many times as they like, let it rot, or leave it empty. Below are pictures of the sculpture "Interior designer" in its depleted state. I like the idea that my art works would have different states, fluctuate; that they are not constant in form, but consistent as an entity held by an intention.
