Why do I fill a box with flowers for you? @ Shmorévaz, Paris

Book Launch / exhibiton at Shmorevaz with Ryan Forester.

September was a busy month. This year I had a mini (three stop) book-launch-tour for a book of poetry / small artist edition I made with Rémi Brandon. The second event (the first was in Turin in April) was at Shmorévaz, a non profit artist space run by Salomé Bernstein. Ryan Forester was in Paris all summer during which he managed through his infinite punk charm to become a "bouquinistes de la Seine" a bookseller with one of those green boxes on the river. Ryan brings endless energy and playfulness to art making, he has a joyful contagious ease even in tough times and it was invigorating to see him so much. So Invited him to show some works and make an edition for the show with Sic.sic the small artist edition publishing platform I started this year with Rémi.

Below are the photos. I am so grateful to all three of these people for their support. The shows I got to do in September delivered me into a new confidence about my work and especially a real ownership of my poetry. Jordan Hell always told me you to have to publish to poetry to stop wondering if its really something you do and he was right.
